No god-modding or Mary Sues
Don't make your character so over-powered that they're practically God. Please avoid making Mary Sues/Gary Sues.

Please refrain from bad-mouthing other members
 Don't bully or be mean to other members. This is supposed to be a friendly group. If someone is bad-mouthing you, then please let us know.

At least attempt to keep the (public) RPs PG-13
To not make any of the members feel uncomfortable we would like to keep the public group chat free from (R) gore and nsfw content.
We do not phrobit you to use your characters for such things, but please make sure your rp partner(s) are fine with these subjects.
This group will at least involve mild violence due to some of the war themes and darker aspects.

The main language of this group is English
We understand that a lot of people's first language isn't English, so mistakes are expected and they're perfectly okay.
We really respect that you are doing effort to learn another language!!
If you can read English but are unsure of your own writing, feel free to use a translator, altho this probably isn't the best resolution.

Be creative
Not exactly a rule, but be creative with your designs! Please do not copy other people's OCs or a character from a fandom. Fan OC's from for example anime series like naruto probably won't work for this group, but feel free to draw inspiration from your favourite series ofcourse!

The art you use in your application MUST BE 100% YOURS! 
This means absolutely no stealing other people's art, tracing, or using bases. Your art doesn't have to be the best in the world, it just needs to be yours!
Ofcourse using references is fine, but remember to give credit and not just trace it right from the original picture!
Both digital and traditional are accepted, in regards to traditional art, try to keep your scan a bit clean if possible so people will be able to see the details that might be in your oc's design. 

 F A Q 

Here are a few questions that some people might be asking; if you have a question, then feel free to let us know and we will update the question list. 

What is this group about?
This group is an RP group based around an organization called the New World Guild. Your character will be a member of the NWG.

What if someone has the same aspect idea as me?
It would depend on the situation; we would review both of your ideas and see which is more thought-out and had more effort put into it. If someone had the same idea a while before you and it was accepted, then we are afraid you will have to pick something different.
Also: If the aspect you want is too similar to one that has already been claimed, then you will have to pick a new one.

Can my character be a furry/anthro/half animal?
No. Characters must be strictly humanoid. If there is something about your character's design that you're unsure is allowed, then please ask me about it so that we make sure it's okay. Your character is now allowed to have bird / insect wings and animal horns / antennae! However, that's it as far as animal features are concerned.

Is there a certain nationality that my character's name should be derived from?
No, the new world isn't like it is now. Things changed, but please be serious about naming your characters. 
With being serious about it we mean don't go for moon moon or things like darkwolf... It could be the meaning of their name but... you probably get the idea.

Can my character have a weapon?
Yes, they can! However, if it's a gun or other more technological weapon, then please make sure it's an older model or ask me for confirmation if it's okay.

How many characters can I have?
You can have up to three characters.

Where do I submit my app when I finish it?
When you're finished, submit it to either the Corporeal Faction folder or the Ethereal Faction folder.
You will need to link the app in your member request, maybe add your skype name to it too so we can add you there and review it.

Is there a particular type or era of clothing that my character should wear?
Your character can wear clothes from whatever time period you like. Be creative!
Regarding to the PG-13 rule, please just be sure your character is wearing something appropriate, so no outfits that literally consist out of 2 strings and a sticker. 

Do the same countries and continents exist in the New World as they did before the timeline reset, like they would in our world?
They do not! The cultures and etymology of the New World cities and continents may be similar to those that we know, but they are not the same.
